I know the OP is telling the truth because a work colleague saw Hitzlsperger playing tennis at The East Anglia Tennis and Squash Club on Lime Tree Road on Sunday afternoon. He even checked the clubs guest book to confirm it was him! He even said all his gear looked new!, so now we know why he went to Piltch!

This of course only means he was in Norwich, not that he is definitely signing for us!

Great thread. Personally when I''m having top level talks about joining a new Premier League football team, I find it calms me down to go and buy a new pair of running shoes, which I can then play tennis in.

And of course, we don''t need the German international because we''ve just signed Bradley Johnson. Similarly, if Cristiano Ronaldo became available we should turn him down because we''ve just signed Elliott Bennet.

actually, i''ve just seen Jonathan Woodgate on London Road - oddly he''s selling the Big Issue magazine, so i guess he''s doing some charitable work prior to signing for NCFC.  seriously, if you look at Woodgate''s picture on google it''s definately him - same haircut and everything....
