The Pilkington deal has not been closed yet be we have been rumoured to have beaten off a late challenge from wolves and Stoke. If this is true then it is very significant. Lets be aving you! 0 Posted July 6, 2011 Agree in the main that Lambert has been a very big factor on our signings.So many of our signings report after the event that Lambert said really likes them as players, how the ground is full every week, etc. Knows how to sell Norwich City. Sounds like a far better (and nicer) salesman than old Bazza at P''boro.On the Pilkington signing, though, if it does materialise, I''m sure Pilkington''s friendship with Vaughan may well have played a major role.
