InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted July 20, 2011 I really cannot see why people prefer FF to Big John [:S]This isnt a dig at anyone who prefers FF to Ruddy but can someone just explain why they feel FF would be a much better option than Ruddy.Ruddy did really well in the championship, is a young keeper and has the potential to excel in the Premierleague imo.Let the argument commence!OTBC
Jim Smith 2,317 Posted July 20, 2011 There appear to be widely differing views on Ruddy on here so there will never be consensus but all i will say is watch the season review dvd. yes he improved as the season went on but watch that dvd and look at how many shots just go straight through him. We cannot afford to gift teams goals next season as we will not come back from them.

L4cole 0 Posted July 20, 2011 Not another post...................John Ruddy played just as well in the league above.... I always say it!!! This is so wrong. If anyone wants to question me please go and watch the season review DVD. Backs me up a treat!!
InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted July 20, 2011 Maybe Fraser Forster would have done just as Ruddy had done in the championship? FF played against WORSE strikers and worse teams etc...
InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted July 20, 2011 Oh and FYI I hope Ruddy plays every single match this season and proves his doubters wrong!
L4cole 0 Posted July 20, 2011 I would love you to be right. He does give his all and he really does care about the club. I just don''t see it happening.

zemas tendon 0 Posted July 20, 2011 Pros and Cons for both keepers, lets not forget that Ruddy is ours, and did not cost a great deal of money, but there are some young twerps in the snake pit who can not wait for Ruddy to make a mistake, and were even chanting Declan Rudds name, but lets not forget All keepers make mistakes, Think back to Leeds where Forster messed up with his kick, and if you can name a keeper who has never made a mistake please name him!!
