Captain Fantastic 0 Posted June 16, 2011 As your a stats man, don''t suppose you could work out how many games it now is we''ve had under Lambert where we haven''t lost back to back, gotta be near 100 now surely? Gonna be tough to keep that going in the Prem!
AdamCarpenter1985 0 Posted June 16, 2011 Well according to SSN, Lambert has been in charge of 99 games, so 1st game of the season will be his 100 up!
Barclay hero 0 Posted June 16, 2011 Our last back to back defeats were at the end of the relegation season when we lost to Scum (2-3), Reading (0-2) and Charlton (2-4) We''ve not lost back to back games in the same season since - although we lost the last game of the league 1 season (Carlisle 0-2) and the first of the Championship season (2-3). In total thats 99 games under Lambert (last year was 46 league, 2 league cup, 1 FAC; the season before 43 league if you include Brentford on the day he was appointed, 1 LC, 2 FAC and 4JPT) So in answer to your original question - strictly its 45 games without back to back (competitive) defeats but without the cross season issue it becomes 103 games (99 under Lambert, plus the remaining 3 league and 1 league cup game at the end of the Gunn era and interim period
