Hotel for wigan

Recommended Posts

not so good value as Travelodge

book a family room and you can get 4 of you in .... rooms are big, clean, telly etc - they let bring in takeways, booze

never had any grief, there''s only some spotty herbert at the desk,

and at the moment for the friday night before (12th Aug) they are FIFTEEN QUID for the room !

less that £4 a person ! ! !

downside is they are about 5 mile from the ground

you really cant help some people can you................. very unlikely is going to get moved if any would be likely it would be swansea man city and for £16 i wouldnt lose any sleep.

travelodge isnt that cheap as i looked plus its 5 miles from the ground so would need to pay transport. this is 1.2 miles you can unless your fat and lazy

some of you really have nothing better to do then whinge/moan do you. seriosuly get a life

Traveledge IS that cheap, it is on their site ...... try looking

As to 5 miles I presume the same car that took you to Wigan might just manage that extra few miles

Why would anybody want to spend a night in Wigan???Surely a better bet is to book a room in either Liverpool or Manchester if you fancy making a weekend of it? [<:o)]

And Travelodge do a special rate for Super Members which guarantees them a presidential suite for £5.00, even if the hotel is fully booked.

Perhaps most of their Super Members represent the "hourly trade." [;)]

And a full english breakfast, instead of the breakfast bag they normally offer.

eh ?

A fair number of fans travel to games like Wigan Fri night (getting there in time for a few drinks/curry etc)

Means next morning they can leisurely head towards a few pubs before the game without the stress of trying to get there sat morn.

As your hotel is 2 mile from the ground I can hardly think that it is too much of an ordeal to drive the few mile and park up near where your hotel is and follow the same itenary - or likewise drive/taxi/bus to another part of town to drink/eat before the game.

At £15 for 4 of you (more if you want to kip on the floor) it is incredible value and simply another option for fans, rather than any holier than thou dispute over accomodation.

There is a triangle of 12 miles taking in Warrington. Wigan and St Helens.... something like 400,000 people. Good clubs, good pubs and an assured good night out provided you modify your accent a bit!.......... no long aaaaaaaaaaaaa''s
