The result at Turf Moor represents a huge improvement. A solid achievement.  They shipped 5 in April to some team I''ve never heard of . Then conceded 7 to the top East Anglian Championship team. It''s almost as if when we went down to League 1 we handed them our business plan for those last few years in the championship, signing has-been players and loans, hoping for points deductions off of other teams, recruiting managers who are also past their best (Jewell) or were abit flash in the pan and/or mad (Keane). The similarities are shocking, also 60 odd million debt would be huge in league 1.

Well it''s a long long time since we lost six on the spin. Back in 1995 in fact and at least that was the Premier League. And we still managed to do the double over them (as usual)[|-)][;)]

 

18 goals conceded in 6 games surely leaves them nailed on for relegation.

The Binners may be very lucky this season as Portsmouth may be deducted 10 points as their parent company has gone into administration according to the BBC.

With Coventry and Doncaster off the pace at the foot of the Championship, the Binners may just escape the drop.
