Countdown to relegation, Acording to the binners

Recommended Posts

Who really cares what the Binners think. We are building a squad likely to stick together post relegation should the worst happen giving us the best chance of bouncing straight back.

I think Lambert is building the type of team who will stick around. Not like Blackpool who are slowly being decimated by departure after departure.
God''s sake they''re only having a bit of fun.  Chances are, to be totally honest.  We''re more likely to go down than stay up.
So spangles, how do you reckon 1p5wich will do next season? Are you happy with that squad?

Has it gone ?

There''s a summer games clock, but no Norwich countdown clock

Maybe it''s being repaired, as the first letter ''o'' and the letter ''d'' in the word countdown were missing when I last saw it

sorry Pete, it all stinks a bit of Archant trying to come up with some stories during off season. "you say this green un", "and then we''ll retort with this". Nah, not buying it.

There are other, more natural ways to laugh at each other. like this for instance...

"I am joining Ipswich Town - Nathan Ellington"

I suppose were in a similar situation to that which we faced exactly a year ago under Keane?....do we want them to continue to lose matches thus forcing them to sack Jewell and appoint someone ,who in all liklihood will revive them enough to steer clear of relegation....or do we need them now to win a match to ease the pressure on Jewell and prolong his hapless stay there??

"The fact we were told they were winning 2-1 as we left the ground made hearing they conceded 2 goals in injury time to lose made it even better!"

Likewise

As far as we knew the paupers had finally got a win, even thought they had won 3-2 when someone told us the score

then ....

They seemed determined to provide us with far more amusement than we deserve - odd little fellows aren''t they ?

Nor a very bright one either.

You would have thought by now that the dimwitted rustics would have finally twigged what is going on.

The loan window comes to an end and who do the paupers splash out on. The aged Plug .... to join the rest of the elderly ''has been''s and cast offs.

The attendances do suggest that they have at least twigged the onfield stuff is not only dire, but an embarrassment. Now all they have to do is work out why.

Though given the not too bright nature of their support it may take some while yet..

Makes Jewell''s comments from october all the more funny:

As for Town, Jewell has also been keen to point out his side’s staying power after late winners from Keith Andrews and Lee Bowyer earned wins at Leeds and West Ham respectively – a knack Norwich had down to a fine art last season.

“I think they got something like 20-odd points through injury-time goals,” said Jewell.

“That gave the crowd belief and if we can get that belief at Portman Road we’ll have a chance.”

Hmmm.... Not sure they''ve got the right end of the stick....
