He can also play on the left of midfield or in an emergency at left back.A bit more physicality and steel in midfield is going to be key in games where we come under pressure. The days of out-of-contract players being those who aren''t that good are long gone - Leeds were desperate to keep him, it was his choice not to stay there. It does sound like others are interested - the other day the Mail reckoned he''s on the radar of both Stoke and WBA - so if he came to us it would be pretty good.
