Unfortunately although the vast majority were level headed about Gunn and could balance out the good and bad there were a vocal minority that ended up getting far to much publicity. Syteanric 1 Posted June 9, 2011 Great player for us, one of my all time favourites and a hero for this club too.Gunny went through the worst thing that can happen to anyone as a player and came back for it, he led us to our greatest moment.He wasnt a Leech, did he give himself these jobs or where they given to him???? money in the bank to pay the bills and support his family.. something we all need.yes he got it wrong as a manager... but those who point the finger at Gunny need to sit down, stop, and have a think about who made him manager,, these people were ultimately culpable in the same way that those who chose Lambert are also responsible.
