Never Blue 0 Posted May 21, 2011 Yes it was in League 2 and cody''s goals were class. Yes he played in League 1 and CMS''s goals were class. I genuinely believe that Cody would provide just as much (if not more) as CMS, so why spend 2.5m on something that we already have? Whatever the outcome on that, why do a majority of city fans think that we should be settling for theses types of players? We need a striker that has prem class, not a league 1/2 striker. I for one hope that we sign a big name up front and the same in midfield. I dont ask for a world renound name just someone that has prem experience and can hold the line with holt/wes. I would be happy with just 5 signings this summer:1xMain Striker1x3rd/4th Striker1xMidfielder1xCentre back1xRight backIf Drury leaves (which I expect him to) then:1xLeft backI just hope that they are not all ''lower league'' players.OTBC. We dont want to upset the balance too much.I think Cody will almost certainly soon be leaving the club. After his achievements in L2 he will most likely be looking for a move to a L1 or even Championship team. There is little point in him staying at Norwich to be a 6th choice striker. My ideal pecking order for strikers next season:1. Maynard (£5m)2. Holt3. Graham (£3.5m) or Demba Ba (£3.5m). Looks like QPR want Graham, and they get what they want.4. JacksonShane Long would also be a great addition but realistically I see him moving to a bigger club like Liverpool, Everton or Tottenham.
