Looks like 2 forwards in, whos out?

Recommended Posts

1 forward in many more bid for - it looks like Lambo is going to briing in at least 2 and i assume at least one will be leaving.

whos days are numbered after the back part of last season has Chris Martin pulled on a yellow shirt for the last time?

None.Grant Holt will be this season''s Tony Yeboah.Wilbraham is a good target man, we need one of those in case Holt gets injured.MacDonald scored shedloads last season and will be an impact sub.Oli Johnson is full of trickery and guile and offers something different as an impact sub.Chris Martin is "city til I die" and has the technique to succeed at the highest level if given a chance as an impact sub.Simeon Jackson is quick and deadly in front of goal right now.  He''s proved you can step up from League Two to Championship to Premier League in the same way that Cody will when annihilating all-comers next season as an impact sub.I''m amazed we''re buying any forwards, to be honest - are they really any better than what we''ve already got?  Next people will be suggesting we sell Antony Macnamee, who will be hard to handle as an impact sub next season.
holt martin vaughan jackson new will be our front line next season
Totally agreed, with that ''new'' probably being Morison as another big man. We really can''t afford more than that in the 25, so the rest - Wilbraham, MacDonald, Daley, Johnson - will either be on their way or loaned out.

If it came down to the choice I''d get rid of Martin and keep Cody as he is likely to score far more goals. Cody scored 10 with his head alone last season out of 25 which is phenomenal for a sub 6ft player.
True, but the odds are much more in his favour.Either the OP was lying (possible, but appeared randomly in the middle of a LFCTV forum, not much to gain there), Cody is very naive (quite possible) or he has been told something positive.Odds about 4-1 against I''d estimate. Your EuroMillion chances ?? ...

paul moy, you know i like Cody Mac, and have tried to defend him. But you really are going on too much, he has only played a full season in League Two. He might not even be here next season...
if we got rid of Chris Martin but kept Aaron Wilbraham, there would be something very wrong going on !!
I get the impression that there is something about Alby that Lambert likes and cant see him leaving in a hurry. One advatage with him is hes as good if not better in Midfield as he is up front, could be a sitter behind the froont 2 if we play an attacking game.

Multi-choice;

1, Part of the 25 man squad.

2, Sold.

3, Loaned out (half season or less)

4, Loaned out (full season)

My view; Option 3 but if he is at a Championship Club and he still knocks them in for fun he will probably be drafted into the 25 come January.

He is getting on a bit and we have better options than him in that position. He will be leaving I think.

Oli and Daley for certain, Wilbraham possibly.

The big question is what will happen to Martin and Cody. Both have their strong points, but if PL signs two strikers Martin and Cody will numbers five and six in order.

Cody has pace and a very good docring record in Division 2, while Martin is a good provider and dead ball specialist.
