SnakepitCanary 0 Posted May 4, 2011 We will get two top 6 teams in a row, I''m pretty sure about that. It''ll probably end at some point next season!
Norfolk Mustard 86 Posted May 4, 2011 It''ll be fun protecting the ''never lost 2 games back-to-back'' record though!
Reykjavik Canary 0 Posted May 4, 2011
It''ll be fun protecting the ''never lost 2 games back-to-back'' record though!
Wouldn''t it be more fun to create the never lost a game in the Premier League since 2005. Then we can defend that and become CHAMPJANS
chicken 0 Posted May 4, 2011 It''s a totally different game in the prem. But having said that we lost out last time not because we lost too many games but because we drew too many. One more point is all it would have taken in a game where we were drawing. We didn''t have the quality until Ashton came, to get the goals we needed to break deadlocks. This season we have Holt who I think will be a handful fro premiership defences. I can just imagine Terry getting wound up by him. He wont allow anyone to settle, and with someone like that you know there is a chance of getting something out of a game.Another thing, our average age in that team must have been getting on a bit - we had a good 4/5 players 30+ especially by the end of the season and we lacked pace especially without Francis.
