Actim Index and Player of the Season

Recommended Posts

Just seen the updated index and Martin, Holt and Wessi are 7,8 & 9 in the rankings; thought it was a nice illustration of how close it is between them for PotS objectively as well as subjectively.

Additionally we have Cofts at 11; Ruddy at 17 (1 place behind the top keeper Kenny); Ward at 62; and Fox at 96.

That means that every player who started more than half the season got into the top hundred (apart from Leon Barnett but he only just played half (25 games)).

In other news, we really should make a bid for Danny Graham.

It''s also interesting to see that we have more players in the top 10 and top 20 than any other team.  That supports the view that we don''t have superstars, but just a team of good players.

And to those that say QPR is almost a 1 man team, while Norwich have 3 players in the top 10, how many do QPR have...One!!!!  [:#]

Just looking on there at the fair play table, I''m staggered that Sheffield United have had 11 red cards, surely that''s got to be a record, practically a red card every 4 games, no wonder they have been relegated!

Also how can Jay Bothroyd be ahead of Holt, I''d say as a striker the two most important things are goals and assists, If you combine the two together Holt is 1 behind Taarabt on 34. Bothroyd doesn''t come close to that figure. Very strange
