Based purely on the last 6 games Norwich and Cardiff are joint top of the form table. Both have 13 points from the last 6 games. However given the way that Cardiff folded faster than superman on laundry day to allow us promotion surely Lambert has to win the award?

Based on the results in the calendar month of April, Reading gained the most points, all be it from 2 extra games, on 17. Cardiff gained 16 from 6 games, Norwich 13 from 6 and Millwall 13 from 7. So it''s either Dave Jones or Brian McDermott should get it based on points gained. I for one would love Dave Jones to get it as it would be hilarious to see his face with an award for failing!!

Dave Jones is in there because the Boro match was in May, not April - Cardiff''s record in April was actually very good (5 wins 1 draw (v QPR), F15 A4)

Hope he wins though, would be hilarious

Lambert is an absolute shoe in for April. It''s just great that the manager of the month kiss of death can''t affect us! We''re already up :)
Lambert may not get the award, but it looks a shoe in for Jackson to get Player of the month!!!
Other PlayeroM contenders:- Marlon King (Coventry City) [:O]Scott McDonald (Middlesbrough)Ayegbeni Yakubu (Leicester City)Simeon must be odds on given that list[:D]

The great thing is that Jones should win the MoM for April. Cardiff were excellent in April, responding to the pressure at the top even better than us. They can present it to him before their game with Burnley, which they will then lose, handing Swansea the second automatic place which will have opened up on Friday after QPR''s points deduction.

Instead of getting the manager of the month award, Lambert will pick up that beautiful old Football league Champions trophy. And they can give Colin manager of the year. Should be just the fillip he needs before the play-offs.

Happy days.

Lambert is not in sky''s pocket and will struggle to win any award from sky. Malky won it last month when other managers had achieved better results.Such is life..lol

I''d rather have won what we have than have a nice little ornament in the trophy room and not gone up. Thats just me though ;)
