He scores them with his left foot

He scores them with his right

And when he''s playing Ipswich

He scores all f****** night!

[alternatively]
And when he''s playing Ipswich
He scores them with his a***!

According to the quality mag that is The Sun us city fans are already calling him Aspirin as he will solve our goal scoring headache - any heard him being called that cos I havent.Perhaps we need a song to fit in with that!Personally something from the life of brian is more appropriate, or calling him Brian is perhaps that best option.Altogether nowAlways look on the bright side of life...OTBC

Ok - I''ve stupidly decided to have a go at this.  Here''s No.1 for what it''s worth, to the Dexy''s Midnight Runners song ''Geno'':

He''ll shoot and score and then score some more, like before...oh Deano

With left or right or using his height (pause before) Whoaa -o-o Dean-o-o

(I''ve looked at the sheet music and it seems to fit in with the rhythm of those two lines).

Final effort, to the tune of Lily the Pink (this is an adaptation of something I believe Crewe fans used to sing for him):

Let''s drink a drink a drink to Deano the king the king the king

A hero of this football te-e-eam

For he invented multiple scoring, to try to help us achieve our dream.

(It''s alright...I''ll go now...things to do much more worthy of my time!!!  Sorry all!)

(To the tune of FLASH!)

To the chorus from The Smiths Bigmouth Strikes Again (dont ask, I was just listening to it..!)

Ashton! La La La La La La!

Ashton ! La La La La!

Ashton strikes again

He came from Crewe to score a few in the Premier!

Or something like that.. The last line''s a bit of a mouthful though

Taxi for KC..

I''ve got to say that I like Meeky''s imput the best here, althoguh some of the othes are good. Apart from that its about the only one I can actually imagine beng sung (besides the fact that any song slagging the scum is fine in my book).

Let''s just pray his performances can stimulate as much chanting as possibe.

I like the "Geno" idea.  That said it''s probably because that''s pretty much what I had come up with!
