Bovril 264 Posted May 6, 2011 "I''d love to play a friendly at the Westfalenstadion. It is a special place to play football with special fans. I try and keep track of what happens at Dortmund. The Südtribüne is one of the best places to be in football. It''s terrific to hear about the Borussia fanclub in Scotland but that''s what I tell everybody. Go and watch a game at the Westfalenstadion, which I still call Westfalenstadion, and come back and tell me what you think about it. It is a fantastic atmosphere'''' (taken from article posted on this MB).With premierleague clubs now a non-viable option for the ''glamour'' friendly, what odds of a trip to the Westfalenstadion? Would be awesome though and I would definitely be there. Been to see Dortmund play 4 times this season and their team is excellent to watch and full of quality young players - not sure how many will still be there come next season though. e10_yellow 0 Posted May 6, 2011 I wish. I would absolutely love to go to the Westfalenstadion for any game, to see Norwich there would be unbelievable. The largest standing terrace in European football - 25,000 capacity in one stand behind the goal - like having almost the entire capacity of Carrow Road standing in the Barclay! Jacko 0 Posted May 6, 2011 Would love this to happen. I remember the dark days when our showcase friendly after being relegated to league 1 was Wigan (I know we played Man Utd but that was about their 5th team)
