Graham Paddons Beard 2,786 Posted May 5, 2011 This story has been doing the rounds for so long, I think they just change the value and the club periodically. I''m sure it was "Barcelona" and "£30 million" last time I read the EADT.
Jack Barak 46 Posted May 5, 2011 He''s overrated, not worth a penny over £5m...not scorred many in the Championship, disappears for large parts of games and I don''t think the binners or he know what position he should play yet, some nice tricks but no substance! Fagin and Bill Sykes to Binner Wickham''s Oliver Twist[/quote] Of what possible interest is this to us? Apart from the potential weakening of one of our new opponents with an over-rated young binner. Tangible Fixed Assets anyone? 0 Posted May 6, 2011 The DISLOYAL binners use to talk about £5m boy Bowditch.....Then there was handball Haynes........
a1canary 0 Posted May 6, 2011 I think he''s the real deal myself, and so do spurs and arsenal which is why he will go in the summer, no question. They only put him on a new contract to make sure they get a good deal for him. No one will remember his binner connections after a few years, he''ll be the next big thing at Arsenal or wherever and the binners will still be battling relegation to league 1! Evans will eat up his transfer fee to recoup Keane''s disasterous spending.
Bill 1,788 Posted May 6, 2011 "..........and so do spurs and arsenal "Your evidence"which is why he will go in the summer"No. Over £50m in debt with little means to make payments. 20 players out of contract with the wage bill having to be slashed, season ticket sales falling (as are attendances), a years rent unpaid. If he goes in the summer, it will be for those reasons. As to his abilities lets hope that if he goes to the Premier League he is not marked by a former League 1 defender (R Martin) and that he realises that playing against Premier defenders will not be the same as shoving underdeveloped 16 year olds around.
