Blarst me, he wuz farst

How we could use his awesome pace and lightning crosses now.

I think the saga of the injuries and setbacks he suffered is one of the saddest episodes in City''s recent history, during some of the darkest days at the club. Amongst the most exciting players I''ve witnessed play at Carrow Road, up there with Ruel Fox, Chris Sutton and Darren Huckerby.

If injury hadn''t blighted his career I think he''d be back with us now. At 30, he''d be at the peak of his game and where better to thrill the masses than his own personal theatre of dreams?

Bad luck Darren, we''ll never forget the goals.

Definitely my favourite player to have worn the beautiful yellow and green.Unstoppable in his prime, crossing, dribbling, shooting, even tackling! He would have been better than Bellamy if he had stayed fit, and would have solved England''s problem left side. Just imagine him on one side, and Shaun Wright-Phillips on the other!!
