funny old game

Seve R I P

Recommended Posts

Not football related I know, but having read the news it left me sligthly down after being on one tremendous high since monday, Seve was an absolute star in his chosen sport, one of the most flambouyent golfers ever seen always played with passion & mostly with a smile, R I P.

Changed the sport of golf and I suppose that is the essence of a great, someone who changes the sport leaving a lasting legacy.

I remember the Ryder cups and the passion of the man clearly visible.

Apparently only 54 years old which is not old at all these days.

RIP.

Put''s into prespective sport, you must enjoy the good days when they come, but remember it is only a sport.

My thoughts are with the great mans family.

Seve - Thanks for the memories.R.I.P

RIP Seve, true great in the golfing/sporting world, But can now be at peace after spending years of suffering from the most cruel illness. 54 is no age nowadays

Sad news, remember must have been about 30 years ago reading in a mens magazine (non porno) a candid interview with Seve which I found inspiring as a struggling sportsman. To summarise: not many people know but Seve was actually born deformed; one arm was measurably shorter than the other, this precluded him from other sports he might have been interested in pusuing but he worked hard at turning it to his advantage for the sport of golf with remarkable success.Exemplary sportsman and ambassador for his sport, Tiger Woods without the warts and temper.
