Binky 0 Posted May 8, 2011 Now the season is over, just like to echo all those Canary Callers (yes, really!) who laud the Radio Norfolk commentary team. Well done the pair of you. It''s not just that, as good BBC men, they are so unbiased in their impartial commentary :), or or just that we''ve been on a winning streak for the past two seasons. (By comparison I find the utterings of Alan Green on 5 Live a big turn off). They give good coverage, rarely miss or fail to explain an incident on the pitch - and it''s a joy to listen to even if, living in Hertfordshire I sometimes have to go into the corner of the smallest room to get reception.. More next season please BBC.
Bury Yellow 2 Posted May 8, 2011 Totally agree. Every now and then on Canary Player they will have extended highlights with R Norfolk commentary. It is proof that Goreham has the skill of describing a fast moving sport with accuracy. Adams has grown into his job since the partnership with Goreham and offers the professional footballer perspective.Congrats to both of them.

Canary23 0 Posted May 9, 2011 Goreham and Adams are legends! After the match the great thing is their over excited commentary on the late goals!
Beetley Yellow 57 Posted May 9, 2011 Jacko''s winner against Derby was epic, epic radio[Y]- and has been linked on several football based forums. If there was an award for emotive sports broadcasting it would win it no question.
Canary23 0 Posted May 9, 2011 I think their should be an award for such FANTASTIC radio commentary, hearing back their commentary on the late late winner against Derby just added to the day
grantroederdisaster 0 Posted May 9, 2011 The passion messrs Goreham and Adams give on their commentrys is awesome! Many people rubbish Radio Norfolks commentry just cause Radio Norfolk is seen by many as an unfashionable, "fuddy duddy" old peoples station but in reality they are very good. The passion let out after Jacksons winner against Derby and when the whistle went at Portsmouth is what footballs all about!Apparently, according to others, recent unpassionable Radio5 commentry of Norwich games fully enthasised how good Goreham and Adams are!
