Avram Grant Sacked
Grant always looks so unhappy. I reckon it rubs off on the players!
Thats not fair, I have a face like a Bulldog licking p*** off a nettle, but my friends know me as one of the happiest go lucky people around.

Absolutely right!

Sullivan and Gold must be pretty sick this morning - thank goodness they preferred West Ham over Norwich when the Birmingham money was burning a hole in their pockets!

1 or 2 mistakes from a keeper and everybody starts calling him cr@p. He has had a brilliant career, and as somebody said, without him, WHU would have been relegated a long time ago. All keepers make these mistakes, it''s just that Greeno made one with millions watching in the biggest stage (World Cup). It''s just like calling Drury an awful player because he once scored an OG!

Avram Grant''s non-verbal communication leaves a lot to be desired. Part of me feels quite sorry for a man who looks so miserable - even on the odd occassions when he won a game (need to go back to Chelsea to get that image!) he still looked downbeat.

It''s like the words don''t match the face or vice-versa - bit like Disney''s Droopy Dog character when he says in that very slow, depressed American voice: ''I''m very, very happy!'' It''s the sheer irony that makes it funny in the cartoon.

I''m not kicking someone when they''re down here, just making the observation...

as a hammer as well and seeing lots of both ruddy and green, there is no doubt in my mind that Green is a much better goalkeeper than ruddy.

Ruddy has made at least 5 rickets this season that have cost us goals, Green has been immense for west ham this year and kept us in games we would have lost.

He is a bit error prone, but then he is also a lot busier than most other keepers in the Premiership, it''s not like he gets a lot of help from his defence.

Interesting stat put up by @OptaJoe on twitter during the Wigan West Ham game which kind of shows my point.

"7 - Rob Green made seven saves in the first half v Wigan while Latics ''keeper Ali Al-Habsi didn''t make any. Contrast"

As Nelson would say - "Ha ha".

International career ended hilariously last summer, relegated from Premiership again.

Never liked him since his comments about Norwich having a "village mentality".

Enjoy those tuesday night trips to the Keepmoat Robert.
What a load of garbage, like you have any idea what was really going on behind the scenes at Chelsea!
I take it that was directed at me as I mentioned Chelsea. It''s been fairly well documented by a number of sources that Uncle Avram was a particularly ''hands off'' kind off a coach during his time at Chelsea. It worked OK there as it was a settled team with settled system and plenty of leaders on the pitch. To take a similar style to unsettled sides at the wrong end of the table is a recipe for disaster as the past two seasons have proven.

Well Robert Green letting in a tame shot to hand Wigan the win probably dropped his price a bit. Not sure Green would be my 1st choice. I''d take Forster over Green any day of the week. We do need a 2nd keeper. Bring one in and let the best man win.
Green once said "I''d rather stick needles in my eyes than play for Norwich"I have a packet here now if indeed he''d like to back that up.....
he did used to play for us you know? or do they not have local football news in Ipswich?

If we sign anyone from West Ham they will have to take a big wage cut as Skysports News reported that West Ham have the 6th biggest wage bill in the Premiership !

Green has played solidly for 7 straight seasons in the Premier League. He kept West Ham in the game today.
Kept them in the game? More like lost them a point.
You are joking aren''t you pal? Largey''s right - I only caught the second half but Greeno made alot of good saves, and was the one who kept West Ham in the game.

In my opinion, yesterday he was the only WH player to put a decent shift in, and also appeared to be the only WH player that cared.

Ruddy''s superb, but he''ll know as well as anyone that quality competition is a good thing, and he will need that. We''ll obviously need another experienced keeper, and I for one would love Greeno back here (though Ruddy''s my first choice, and has earned his right to it). Wages may be a stumbling block though...

So your sticking by your statement that Chelsea''s players picked the team and tactics??

Give over.
