In fact, signing just a 1 year extension to 2012 (just 12 months left on his contract) merely protects Reading FC to ensure they receive a fee of some sort. In fact, Reading will have a decision to make this summer if they don''t go up - either sell, sign another contract or don''t do either and risk losing him for nothing in 2012.I don''t think option c is realistic as any team in the Championship could not afford to turn down £3/4m bid for someone they could lose in a matter of months. Hutcherby46 0 Posted April 25, 2011 i think there are a number of decent young strikers who we could go in for i personally think dj campbell has looked sharp all season and has scored some decent and some vital goals for blackpool and he is quite a physical lad.shane long is an awsome player who i think we could defo atract if we went upto the prem,how about pacheo could we get him on loan again? or maybe sturridge on loan who would be an awsome signing for us!
