Oi, Worthy... NO!

Recommended Posts

To save time and effort with post-match interviews, why doesn''t Worthy simply place a cardboard cut-out of himself in front of the camera with a tape player hanging around it''s neck that plays a recoding of his standard comments."We work hard""We keep going until the final whistle""Can''t fault our effort"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

oh you have just heard him on Radio Norfolk then!  Same old story but unfortuntately it is wearing a bit thin now especially as there are only about 15 games left and only 1 point won out of the last 21

Hey dont forget his other classics...

''''Were in the Premier League, and were still enjoying it''''

''''Its a learning curve''''

''''The work ethic is there''''

All of these usually with the trade mark ''Know what I Mean''

i understand what people are saying but what else is he supposed to say? "we were cr*p" ? you have to be realistic and look at the positives, the minute he starts slating the team during interviews we will lose team spirit and things will degenerate even more. it is unfortunate that one of the consistent positives is our work rate, if there is nothing else positive what is he supposed to dwell on?

To be fair, what else is he going to say. He could come out and say we played crap but then that wouldn''t be good for morale. It''s widely known that in front of camera Worthy is fairly honest but won''t slate anybody. Behind closed doors it''s a different story
