Yellow Pecker 0 Posted April 29, 2011 Mr. Fry spent the day twiitering about a darts match all through the Royal Wedding.Think he was making some sort of point but bang goes his knighthood. Will it affect his ability to win friends and influence people?

Mahogany 0 Posted April 29, 2011 I remember reading an interview where he was asked about why he didn''t have a title. He fairly evasive about it but it seemed pretty clear that he''d been offered a knighthood but turned it down.

Crafty Canary 495 Posted April 29, 2011 What is his contribution as a director? I don''t mean in buying shares but in the role he has. If he hasn''t got one (and raising the profile of NCFC isn''t a role as that''s the job of the team and management) then what is the point of him being on the board anymore than any other fan of the club? nutty nigel 7,513 Posted April 29, 2011 You can''t argue with results though Crafty. I''d even have you on the board if you brought the success he has[:O] Oh... and get up early tomorrow if you want your Daily Mail[;)]
Unhinged Canary 375 Posted April 29, 2011 He definitely seemed to be trying to make a point about it. Was actually getting pretty annoying this morning. He''s still going on about it. I''ve never even heard of either of the players!
Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 3,783 Posted April 30, 2011 Well done Stephen. I spent all day trying my best to avoid the wedding like plague by watching the snooker [Y]
Lincs CR 0 Posted April 30, 2011 I believe Crafty he was hired to be an ambassador for the club due to his ridiculously vast amount of contacts and friends around the world, so he can raise awareness of Norwich city, increase fan base, maybe get potential investors and new shareholders interested. CaptnCanary 0 Posted April 30, 2011 I have successfully avoided seeing a single piece of royal wedding footage. Haven''t even switched the TV on and caught a piece on the news or anything by accident. I just can''t understand how in this day and age people can get so excited about some toffs, who''s extravangent lives are funded by the tax payer, getting married at the publics expense. Not only that but declaring a public holiday and costing businesses a small fortune! Seeing union jacks up on peoples windows etc., beggars belief to me! But perhaps now I understand how people that hate football feel during the world cup! (They''re just wrong to hate football though :P)

Bury Yellow 2 Posted April 30, 2011 Hi Spat. Hit a raw nerve have I? I didn''t mention anything other than he is a leftie luvvie which of course he is.I like Fry as a performer and artist but I really hate these people who seem to think we want to know what there political opinion is. Fry has no more qualification than me to decide what taxpayers money is to be spent on. He would of course wet his trousers if more was spent on the Arts rather than let the Arts stand on it''s own two feet. And now over to Bonio for his thoughts :)

. 0 Posted April 30, 2011 A waste of space as far as NCFC is concerned.I suspect he was parachuted in to give Delia a bit of trendy ''luvvie'' credibility. More misuse of the club to enhance her public image.
