Branston Pickle 3,638 Posted May 2, 2011 Aye, saw that interview myself, he came across as a good guy and very gracious in defeat, and complimentary to NCFC.I was actually pleasantly surprised by Billy Davies when I saw his post match interview after the Forest game on the beeb the other day - hugely complimentary of the set-up at NCFC all round from top to bottom and about the supporters. I do think we are quite a popular promotion winner, certainly more than Cardiff would be!
Scot-e-dog 34 Posted May 2, 2011 My thoughts entirely. It''s nice to see a manager who doesn''t whinge and whine and blame everyone else.
Theres only one Ken Foggo 0 Posted May 2, 2011 Funny how Steve Cotterill has been the opposition manager in some significant matches in our recent history. He was the Burnley manager when they beat us 4-1 at Carrow Road in 2006 - the match which resulted in Nigel Worthington''s sacking.
Gingerpele 0 Posted May 2, 2011 Seems like a decent bloke. Don''t think he''ll ever really progress much further in his career though.
unique 434 Posted May 2, 2011 Sean Derry (QPR) was in the studio and was extremely complimentary throughout the night. Top man, top pundit. Cotterill was magnanimous as well.

......and Smith must score. 1,336 Posted May 2, 2011 Agree with the OP about Steve Cotterill. He was very gracious in defeat and I thought he came across very well. The City supporters in the pub I was in gave him a round of applause for it.
