Thorny 0 Posted May 3, 2011 Jackson - an unsung hero who got us there? Pulled his socks up and done his duty when required. Hats off to him.Others throughout the season digging in deep but really a team effort. Who can we really moan about? Regardless, Lambert has done it again. Played a good set of cards with a small budget compared to foul mouthed Warnock with a bigger purse.Which set of fans are more satisfied when you look at the so called gulf? How many points difference vs price paid for players/services?Splendid job done
nutty nigel 7,513 Posted May 3, 2011 Good post Thorny[Y] But really I reckon it was a"club effort" from the owners through the management and players to the fans. Even Billy Davies saw it coming!
Thorny 0 Posted May 3, 2011 Has been a team effort all season and players punching their weight at the right time (god bless Henry Cooper with the punch!) - they all come through to prove their worth and Lambert playing them as the team. A joy to watch and do the job but don''t want Jackson final efforts to go unmissed as he had the final few punches for us to do the job.ALL pulled their weight and should stand proud!
