Anyone know if there is a designated car park for norwich fans in ipswich that will be safe? Will we be directed from the motorway to this?
Well if I were you I''d park on the park n ride outside the town you will be wise not to park inside the town
Park and Ride by Asda has now closed.  The nearest one is at the Copdock Interchange.Plenty of parking around Cardinals Park, and the docks now.

In a word - no there won''t! You will have to park in general football parking (off road by River probably your best bet). You need to be the station side - because trust me, you will have no choice whatsoever which direction you will be marched after the game!

If you need guide I can help if you provide me one of your tickets ;o)

theres a car park opposite the train station, behind zest night club... Not far from the ground but dont miss the entrance or it will be a walk back through the scummers on your own, thats if plod let you out.Sounds obvious but don''t display any colours in your car.... not wanting to sound obvious but i know someone who left a City scarf in his car once.... he wont be doing it again!

2 years ago i parked at the ipshit store for the company i work for and at the end of the game some we were kept in 30 mins then marched to the station.

Had one almighty row with a dickhead plod who wouldn''t let me go to my car even tho it was only 150 yards away down a side street, by the time we had argued the scum fans had run round and blocked that road.

Had to walk 2 miles to the station then had another row with him (calling him a lot of obscence names that my mate thought i was gonna get nicked) saying to him was he gonna give us an escort back to my car, then his even thicker boss came over and she said no either so I told them to fuck off out the way then and we had to walk for over an hour round the other side of ipswich to get back to the car as the scummers had the other way blocked.

So my advice, take the train.

My advice is park in the multi storey car park by the station. It''s expensive, but at least you get an escort back to the station by plod.

Last time I went with my son, we had to go into the station enterance and come back out again, as some sharp eyed locals were watching City fans peel off from the main bunch and then proceeded to give them hassle as they walked over to the parking area! Nice, not!

train to Ipswich really is the only way to travel sadly.. least you get there and back in once piece without the inbreds accosting you.

Last four visits I''ve parked in West End Road I think it is - a short path takes you on to the road from the station to ground.

Absolutely no problems at all. You have to leave the main group to walk down the path again on way back and the plod might ask where you''re going. No issues at all. Lots of Norwich fans park there and very close to the ground.

I''ve always worn colours walking from the car park to the match and had no problems.
