Bill 1,788 Posted April 21, 2011 The EDP site has - An additional “football special” train has been organised by National Express East Anglia for after tonight’s derby clash between Norwich City and Ipswich Town at Portman Road.The special train will leave Ipswich for Norwich at 10.20pm, with nine carriages organised to cater for the high passenger numbers expected. A similar train has been organised for supporters wanting to head in the opposite direction, eight carriages leaving Ipswich for London at 9.58pm. As a result, the 11pm train from Norwich to Great Yarmouth will leave at 11.10pm and run 10 minutes later throughout its stops.The 11.34pm Great Yarmouth to Norwich service will likewise leave 10 minutes later, departing at 11.44pm, Reedham at 11.58pm, Brundall at 12.10am and arrive in Norwich at 12.21am.Two additional services from Ipswich rail station will also run 10 minutes later than usual to allow passenger connections.Coaches carrying Norwich supporters to the game will be relocated to Ipswich railway station during the match and after initially being held back in the stadium while the home support clears, City fans will then be escorted back to the railway station by police.
