Andy Larkin 15 Posted April 22, 2011 Carl Marston – what a plank. He somehow manages to get his 6 fingers hitting his special "big button" keyboard in some form of co-ordination, but just cannot get past being bitter – despite the little bits of praise he chucks in!I''d like to think we would show more grace than this: "Norwich are a club with nothing like the tradition that Ipswich can boast with the Blues having won the UEFA Cup, FA Cup and the Football League championship." Mind you, that''s all they have left to cling on to as we have rocketed past them!Link herehttp://www.greenun24.co.uk/ipswich-town/galleries_bitter_pill_to_swallow_for_town_fans_as_canaries_win_big_1_873598Now then, where''s that picture of the red-faced farmer''s boys waving their monopoly money at Carrow Road. Marcus Evans eh lads… pffft!
Block E Buh 0 Posted April 22, 2011 Shows mere desperation and lazy journalism to harp back to that. Should be more concerned about the future! 5-1!!! Hahahah!
Mister Chops 7 Posted April 22, 2011 To be fair, he does go on to say:"With Norwich a marker for what Town manager Paul Jewell will be looking for his side to reach next term he was able to see what work needs to be done as Norwich gained command of the game and looked the better side in most departments."This is also a shame..."The news that David Sheepshanks, who generally ran the Blues so well for many years before unearthing Marcus Evans to enable the club to compete on a level playing field with the best in the 21st century, has left his current posts including his remaining Ipswich links to pave the way for taking over the running of the new national football centre at Burton, coincided with the build-up to the game with any Ipswich win being a fitting tribute to Sheepshanks contribution to a club he loves."Though I did like:"before unearthing Marcus Evans to enable the club to compete on a level playing field with the best in the 21st century"Yep, Man U, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid must be watching the video of last night''s game and bricking themselves. Graham Paddons Beard 2,431 Posted April 22, 2011 Last night , via Twitter, I suggested to Marston that he sticks to Colchester. Those of us unlucky enough to read the EADT have to put up with this overage junior hack, who has found himself writting on ITFC because the last incombent (an idiot called Derek Davies) got sacked for making up stories. Until then Marston hung around the drafty corridors of Layer Road. The continual droning on about winning the league in 1960 or whenever it was is their only respite. Presumably there is someone somewhere, distantly related to the captain of the Royal Engineers still going on about their FA cup appearance in 1874. Now there IS a team with a pedigree. When Saturday Comes 0 Posted April 22, 2011 I don''t think anyone can really argue with that? They have won all of those competitions and we haven''t. And apart from that one line you''ve picked out, the rest of the article is quite complimentary to us and scathing of 1p5wich.
