This is funny, had to listen to Radio 5 commentary to see what they had to say during the match as Norfolk can be a little bias.

Just got to Pachecos goal and i can hear some familar screaming in the background of Mr Goreham and Adams!! lol

Gotta say, the whole playback on the match was a great listen as Claridge finishes the game singing our praises, where he was not that kind at the start, taking the micky out of how many touches Holt takes to bring the ball under control etc.

Chris Goreham''s commentary has been exceptional this season. He has the boyish passion of a young Motty and a broad knowledge of players and games. He hit the jackpot with Holt''s goal against Reading.

I would be quite happy for him to be recognised in some way for his work.

I''d imagine Goreham will move his way up the BBC ladder if he so wished. He''s very good at it, certainly better than a lot of others and someone I''m taking bits from. One thing you get a lot today is either over the top ''presenters'' spouting cliches every two seconds, or others that will offer lots of knowledge and stats but can''t capture your imagination and paint a good enough picture of the events unfolding infront. Chris sits nicely inbetween. Good luck to him.

That is quality! Love listening to Goreham, his passion is second to none, really makes listening to Norwich incredibly intense! Listening to Cardiff vs Portsmouth I nearly nodded off listening to their commentary!

It was so funny. As I''m in the Midlands during the week, I have to make do with 5Live and the regional BBC stations round here for commentary and they don''t get anywhere near as excited about their team as R Norfolk does with Norwich. The 5Live commentary this evening was, on the whole, flat, dour and not really that involving.

I agree entirely, it''s wonderful hearing Adams giving it the ''GOALLLLLLLLLLL'' shout in the background whilst Goreham also goes crazy [:D]  [:D] . They''ve produced some first-class pieces of radio commentary this season, especially in some of the last minute / injury time goals. The passion shines through, showing the true enthusiasm of real supporters. Thanks guys![<:o)]

the goal playback at the end of the show has become a bit of a feature.I alwys make a point of listening to it cos he gets so excited and passionate.I think he''s a breath of fresh air.Keep it up i say.
