ZLF 335 Posted January 19, 2005 Perhaps we can get Ashton or Hux to do this when we are under attack, unil its outlawed here too???''Serie A players have been told they should no longer kick the ball out of play when a player is down injured and instead must wait for the referee to blow his whistle before stopping play. The decision was taken after a meeting between the captains of Serie A and Serie B teams, Italian referees and directors of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC). The change in practice followed incidents where players were faking injury to stop play when the opposition were in threatening positions''OTBC
NavMan 0 Posted January 19, 2005 Thus begs the question how does the referee know who is faking and who is not.
DumbleDelia is Magic 0 Posted January 19, 2005 I''m all for that. The ref can normally tell when it is a head injury or not. Might stop so many players taking a dive and rolling about on the floor like there was a sniper in the crowd! If they know their team will be a man down for a minute or two, they might think twice
