Play - no debate as far as I''m concerned. He is the one player we have who can create something out of nothing, albeit not as consistently as we would like. Take Hucks out of the team and all opposing managers would breathe a sigh of relief. He is vital to our chance of staying up, fully on song or not !

I believe he is a luxury to play as a left mid. He doesn''t track back, get crosses in or cause too many problems. We need a strong backbone, then Hucks can do his thing up front with Ashton.

With Worthy committing to a 4-4-2 with Hux off the shoulder of Ashton we should again see Hux at his best.

you''re right, he does often get marked out of the game. But can that be anything but a good thing if he drags 2 defenders wide leaving ashton and francis space in the box? if hucks can get the cross in, then we have much more chance of scoring if he''s dragged the players out wide.

You are looking foolish to even consider dropping him. He must play but up front. Our left side is to exposed with him as a left winger. Put him and Deano up front with Hucks dropping off Cantona style.

In an ideal world, he''d play, but if he''s going to let himself be tethered to the byeline by an invisible wire like he is now, then he should be rested. I bloody well KNOW he''s got the ability and the self-belief to cause total mayhem in the opposition''s penalty area, but he just isn''t doing it this season. It''s all very well to say that he draws defenders to him when he''s got the ball, freeing up our strikers, but the problem is that when that happens the defenders almost always end up with the ball. Worthy''s always given him the freedom to play where he wants, and at the moment he''s chosen to play too deep and too wide to be a threat. He''s just ineffective, sadly.

He''ll always be a Canary hero, because of what he did for us last season when he took virtually the whole burden on his own shoulders. It''s maybe too much to ask for him to repeat that level of commitment this season, but if he did he''d be a true legend. He''s got the skill, I''m sure of that.

i agree he is our best player ,but if he is not getting crosses in and not tracking back to help the defence what good is he to the team.if anybody else did this they would get slagged off .
