Canaries Utd 0 Posted March 15, 2011 Bristol City boss Keith Millen was left to bemoan sloppy defending for his side''s defeat."One-all would have been a good result, but we were sloppy. We gifted soft goals to them," said Millen. "The first goal, from the penalty, was soft after just a minute and it gave us a mountain to climb. "However we fought back and got the goal through Albert Adomah after changing the shape and personnel. "It''s was end-to-end stuff from there. It was a knife-edge and could have gone either way. "We were undone but two balls straight down the field; it''s not like they''ve opened us up with good play. "The players are down in the dressing room because they haven''t suffered defeat in a while and it''s not a nice feeling." Sorry Mr Millen, you could have lost by a hatful, surely show some respect for the better team!!!
Gingerpele 0 Posted March 15, 2011 Wow.I know you shouldn''t really say your team is rubbish, and the other team was great. But seriously, he has pretty much denied everything that happened in the game.Lansbury''s goal, even though it was straight down the pitch, still involved some great football. I hope this was just his way of trying to console his team, and he''s not actually this stupid, otherwise how is he a Football manager?

[;)]In all fairness, though, even though we dominated, they did have a couple of dangerous counter-attacks at 1-1, and we have been vulnerable to conceding goals against the run of play all season, and equally guilty of not converting pressure into goals. With the game tied at 1-1 and us pushing forward relentlessly for the winner, it genuinely could have gone either way. Would''ve been a bit of a smash-and-grab job, but they wouldn''t be the first team to pull that off down here this season.
