tom cavendish 0 Posted March 17, 2011 Norwich were quoted 45k per week for Jason Roberts on-loan.Now that we are 2nd in the Championship, I think that deal might now be worth doing for the rest of the season.Roberts is also out of contract at the end of the season. CanaryJames 0 Posted March 17, 2011 45k a week - no thanks.People are saying CMS would be a waste of money, but paying that much for a loan player would be ridiculous.
York Canary 29 Posted March 17, 2011 A 33yr old on 45k a week. I thought PL didn''t want players that just come over to pick up a big cheque and are at the end of their careers. I know we also went for Blake, but surely he was nowhere near that wage?
TheGoogler 604 Posted March 17, 2011 No, no, no, no.For starters he signed a new 1 yr deal recently. Secondly he''s started the last game and came on as an early sub in the last two games. Finally, £45k a week? Do you know how much that would cost? There''s seven weeks until the end of the season; at £45k a week that''d be an incredible £315k. For one player. Simply not worth it for a loanee we could never afford permanently.
tom cavendish 0 Posted March 17, 2011 7 weeks x £45K = £315K

Graham Paddons Beard 2,758 Posted March 17, 2011 Sounds more like an Ipswich signing to me. And it''s only half of what Diddy Dyer is on. Bargain.
Gingerpele 0 Posted March 17, 2011 He''s not out of contract, he signed an extension. And i very very very much doubt he is on £45k a week, especially after an extension, how many other Prem clubs would want him? He''s scored under 20 goals in the last 3 seasons, and is 33, he is not on 45k a week.
