zemas tendon 0 Posted March 21, 2011 Should he had DIVED to gain a penalty on saturday, when being fouled by Dawson, we go home with the 3 points... or are we Happier that he did not dive or exaggerate being fouled and to try to stay on his feet to get his shot off.... because im sure the majority of posters would prefer that he is honest as the day is long, stay on feet, miss shot!! because we all know what you thought about a Mr Holt for diving gaining penaltys!! A dive is when the player makes it up and flops to the floor like he has been shot by a sniper.Martin had every right to go down, but he thought he could get to the ball and score. In fairness I probably would have done the same as him, would rather score than get a penalty that Holt would take . . . everyone wants to score, defenders don''t get so many chances.Ref should have given it.
