Alex Moss 2,165 Posted March 21, 2011 No, don''t worry folks, not another debate regarding booing in football, or even, god forbid, Craig Mackail-Smith but another cock up from the national press... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1367607/Norwichs-Zak-Whitbread-seeks-United-States-cap-Argentina.html
York Canary 28 Posted March 21, 2011 Surprised they didn''t smack out a picture of Barnett or Korey instead. Donkeys. Would have thought they''d have been better than BBC, but alas no.. he''s out of the US team now anyway

Would have thought they''d have been better than BBC, but alas no.. he''s out of the US team now anyway[/quote]It''s becoming abit of a running joke now I think - Only a matter of time before they print a picture of the current Norwich manager Glenn Roeder...Shame for Zac, but good for us if we''re being honest. I''m sure he''ll get another chance - but would have liked to see him up against Messi etc. Back injury apparently...
e10_yellow 0 Posted March 21, 2011 To be fair these mistaken identity errors on photographs are down to the photographers themselves, who provide their own captions when they send in the pictures to the agency. I''ve just looked this particular photo up on Getty Images and the caption does indeed state that it is Whitbread - in fact the same occurs on another photo where CROFTS 7 is clearly visible on the back of ''Whitbread''''s shirt! norfolkchance1 0 Posted March 21, 2011 They had a cock up in the programme on saturday. Instead of a picture of Wes they had Russell Martin. Again very sloppy.

The only way the Daily Mail would have put any thought into this would be if they claimed American footballers were coming over here taking jobs from our boys, but since Whitbread is not black, a gypsy or from Eastern Europe they''re probably not interested.
