Block Y Seat 176 79 Posted February 22, 2011 According to boffins, the team coach wearing a tracksuit for training and suit for the game has a greater effect on a team. They clearly haven''t studied the contrast between Gunn and Lamberts dress code and the results they achieved!http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/8337743/Secret-of-match-success-suits-for-the-dugout-tracksuits-for-training.html

shiplee15 0 Posted February 22, 2011 I saw this and could only think one thing... can you imagine where we''d be if Lambert wore a suit on match days!?Probably top of the league 10 points clearSuch a pointless article though.
Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted February 22, 2011 You say that haisbrohacker but Keegan didn''t have an umbrella.Perhaps if you''re under pressure, pray it doesn''t rain.
Block Y Seat 176 79 Posted February 22, 2011 Perhaps in his case a flack jacket would have been more appropriate during his stint as England manager.HRH

priceyrice 123 Posted February 22, 2011 I saw this article earlier and couldn''t believe the pointlessness in it.From what i have noticed is that it''s only really older mangers, top class managers or managers at top teams who wear suits. The younger ones tend to wear trackys for a while, as do the lower team managers. Also i think it tends to be managers who have more involvement with training and the players that wear the tracksuits, and thats not found as much at higher clubs.
