Come on Ipswich

Recommended Posts

I really hope that Paul Jewell gets them to really believe in themselves and that they go on to get some great results, it could be great. Under Keane I couldn''t see them getting any better and wanted him to stay but in fact now that things seem to have improved for them it could be possible that their good fortune turns out to be ours too.

I hope they beat QPR Tuesday night, then Cardiff on the 5th March, then Leeds on the 12th. If it means them doing us such a great favour I could live with them being on a great run. We bring them back down to earth with another derby day drubbing for them to lift themselves again to go on to beat Swansea and Leicester. There may have been the odd game in the past that I would have wanted them to win but not this many, it''s weird and feels a little bit sick. Maybe they could just miss out on a play off place on the last day despite winning to make it all ok.

Come on yooouuu blues.

Didn''t need to be bored liambug only took a couple of mins to look at the fixture list. You should try that instead yourporn, you could probably  look at it for a little longer and you don''t have to worry if your mum asks what you been doing. In fact you could even share the experience with her, mind you that might not be any different to yourporn.

Although I generally wish them nothing less than defeat, near bankruptcy, and continual relegation down the leagues.

Yep, they could really take some serious points from those around us. A defeat for QPR on Tuesday, and we will be the closest we have been to them, assuming we beat Donnie.

All we can do is still keep picking up the points, but unlike last year, we will be relying on teams around us to slip up.

So, I hope they do well in these games,(can''t bring myself to say i hope they win), and lose all the rest. Let their demise start next year when we can look down and laugh at them!!

compleatly agree with you. I hate to say it but i hope Ipswich win all those games against the teams around us. I think they will get a draw tuesday night and that will be a good result. QPR are going to start slipping down the table and i think Forest may start pulling away, until we give them a good drumming

i hope they lose every game they play, we don''t need their help, we will win 10 of our remaining games and go up in 1st or 2nd place

Trouble is, we have to go there still and their place is going to be like a hornet''s nest that we''ve just poked a stick into after our derby demolition!

I agree. I hope they beat these 5/6 teams around us, and lose 100-0 in every one of their other games. [:)]

Oh I do hate them barclayboy, but I see it like using them for our own pleasure then discarding them afterwards when they are no longer of use. Give them a little bit pleasure along the way but just imagine how they would feel if at the end of the season you could calculate that we would not have been promoted without their help. I was wanting Jewell to flop but it only dawned on me last night that it might not be in our best interests if he does. And will they get to the point at the end of the season where they need to win but in doing so are confirming our glorious success. There is a bit of me that wants it to turn out this way, far more enjoyable than just wanting them to lose.

They''ve not lost under Jewell so they should be able to take points off of those sides, especially QPR who seem unable to score more than one goal a game. I''ve got a feeling that we could well be above them in a few games time as long as we keep treating each game as a cup game. Those top two places will be rotating for the rest of the season IMO and my prediction is that neither Cardiff, Forest nor QPR will finish in the top two.

The GUT sorry!!! fat fingers!

Why is this forum so antiquated? It''s like going back in time to the 90''s every time I come on here..

No edit button, so social media integration.. pathetic. Get it together Archant.

The only situation in which I could make the words "come on Ipswich" emerge from my mouth would be if I saw a bloke atop a flood light at Poorman Road furiously rubbing his todger...[+o(]

The Git The Gut has a good point although perhaps put across in sligthly contreversial way and if we keep it quiet that we are using them to help us perhaps we could all join together and send mr Jewell a large tin of roses at the end of the season as a Thankyou very mcuh

Would have helped last night in keeping QPR in the mix.
