Favourite Celebration?

Recommended Posts

A handshake and a pat on the back like it used to be before players became a bunch of arrogant egotists. Can''t stand to watch the antics of the modern player.Tossers.

In the immortal words of Richie Benaud (as impersonated by Billy Birmingham)

"I reckon when it comes to congratulating one of your teammates, there''s simply no better way of doing it than with the traditional Australian hug or a kiss or a lick, a grope on the arse or a dry root, Its still the most appropriate way, I think, of showing one''s exuberance and excitement, and its certainly the most masculine and manly way of going about it".

Non City ones, then any of Ian Wright''s.City one has to be either Earnie and his flips or Hucks dance/punch the corner flag.

I''ve gotta say I did like the McKenzie corner flag punch in reference to his family background.

Dean Ashtons slide and point up to the sky when he scored the winner in the last minute against Newcastle always sticks in memory too

If you didn''t get a buzz from seeing the excitement on our players'' faces after the last minute winner the other night then you''re not a Norwich  fan [:)] But even I realise you''re jokin so touche [:D]

Talking of handshakes, my favourite has to be sheff utd away on boxing day a few years back. I think mcVeigh had been booked for celebrating, so when we scored again, Dean Ashton stood there, and the team formed an orderly queue to shake his hand. Made me laugh a bit. Apart from that, any celebration against the s c u m.

I always liked the one Chris Sutton and Ruel Fox used to do. They would stretch out their arms towards each other and do a little jig on tip-toes. Sounds a bit camp, but was quite amusing.Me and a mate did a tribute to it outside White Hart Lane right in the middle of loads of Spurs fans, after we had smashed ''em 3-1down there (Dec 93)!There was a general look of bemusement from them as they walked by!

Sorry, but there is NO celebration i put a link to which has ''grown men hugging each other''. When we scored the winner with the last kick the other night, did you expect the players to just stand their shaking hands? It shows their passion and heart for this club, something I like to see, which obviously you don''t

Did the City players have no passion when scoring during the 1959 FA Cup run? It''s all about ''look at me.....aren''t I clever'' these days and it says so much about the celebrity obsessed age we live in.
