dazza 0 Posted February 6, 2011 just looked at the stats from yesterday ..and we had/couldnt make use from the ELEVEN corners we had .... we never seem to do much at corners (attackin wise) and not to mention we usually have a nightmare when we concede them... or against set pieces for some reason... Salopian 1 Posted February 7, 2011 We mustn''t pin all our hopes on him, but Surman takes very accurate corners and free kicks. This is one of the contributions he can make.So often our corners are hanging, ballooned kicks which come down from high and cause groups to attempt to head, each player putting off most others.What we need more of is lower, dipping, whipped crosses where quick reactions give an advantage.
