LeJuge 0 Posted January 7, 2011 I am more worried about the players that he may be tempted to take with him and the players who would subsequently wish to leave.Let''s say, hypothetically, that Lambert signs Wes Hoolohan for Burnley on a bosman at the end of the year. Does this not become a vested interest? Seeing as he has control over the playing squad? If Lambert has been stalling on the Hoolohan contract, and then takes Wes to Burnley, I would be furious. There are plenty of Lambert players in that squad, he brought in Russell Martin who he had at Wycombe, would he want to go with him?What about Leon Barnett? He just signed for Lambert. I have a feeling that Grant Holt would stay here though, he simply loves it and we simply love him. Although, he does drive a Peugot 306 so could perhaps do with one last signing on fee. Grant Holt is also out of contract in summer 2012, if he doesn''t want to sign a new contract at the end of this season under a new manager then he will probably have to be sold too. Which players do you believe would perhaps be unwilling to play under a new manager, which players would Lambert wish to take with him, and which of those players would definitely want to go?
