paul moy 235 Posted January 9, 2011 It''s great to be out of the Cup. Swansea away is not an attractive game so yesterday''s debacle is justified IMO. Onwards and Upwards to the Prem !!!! [<:o)]
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 2,035 Posted January 9, 2011
orient got swansea away so would of been a tough game anyway. Would much rather play palace for three points
Whilst Swansea away would have been an awful draw.....I''m never quite sure whether that would have been the case?, Are the balls in the draw numbered in alphabetical order or in order of the game number from the previous round?? If its alphabetical ,it wouldn''t have been Swansea would it??
Boyo 0 Posted January 9, 2011 Whilst the Championship teams are getting knocked out in the 4th round we will be beating Palace and putting ourselves into the automatic spots! We don''t need the FA Cup, COYY!
yoda 0 Posted January 9, 2011 Hopefully ! remember last season Leeds were walking the league until they got involvede in all those FA cup games , we got knocked out but then went on to win the league with ease .

paul moy 235 Posted January 9, 2011 That''s a good point actually and I suppose you could work out the number that we would have had. Having said that, if we had drawn Man Utd we would have had an extremely dodgy penalty given against us and Holt would have been sent off. Best out of the corrupt FA Cup IMO. [:D]

Crap draw, glad we''re out.
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted January 9, 2011 Yeah it said in the match programme yesterday that the winners of our tie would be number 31 regardless.
Darren Lamb 0 Posted January 9, 2011 If only Col Who beat Swansea and we beat Orient, but then again if my Aunty had b*llocks....
Year of the tiger 66 Posted January 9, 2011 In the FA cup the number you are drawn out in say the 3rd round is the number carried forward to the 4 th round draw. Thus as we were the 31 st tie drawn out Orient went into the draw as 31. Torquay & Carlisle were the last tie drawn so torquay bcame number 32. Only time alpha order comes in is for Prem & Championship sides in round 3.League Cup by the way is alpha.
pete 371 Posted January 9, 2011 Would''nt City have had Nottm Forest No i,e, West Ham away still not glamour tie.Perhaps we ought not to enter cups to save money

Cardiff and 3 more league points on Saturday is our main focus now...
