InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted January 10, 2011 Dont get me wrong. There is always part of me that slightly worries when a new vacancy arises in football management. I dont worry because of his apparent ''track record'' but I worry because he has done a wonderful job with us.Paul Lambert is an ambitious young manager who wants to do his very best in football management. We are a very ambitious football club. In theory at least (and in Paul Lambert''s words) both parties are happy with each other.I really really dont like it when certain sections of our support attack Lambert because they think he''s a ''judas'' who will just up and leave whenever another club comes to get it. Maybe they''re ''paranoid'' because of the circumstances we got him as manager. It is quite frankly disrespectful to just assume that Lambert will just up and leave. He has done enough here to command the respect and trust of every single Norwich City fan.
O.T.B.C 1 Posted January 10, 2011 Great 1st post about Lambert leaving. Haven''t seen one all day....
Darren Lamb 0 Posted January 10, 2011 I think what most fans, not just of Norwich but of many clubs believe that Lambert joining us from Colchester was because of money and because he is greedy. However everyone must realise what a club we are, could anyone be blamed for going onto something and better, very much the same as if Lambert was to join Villa or Everton, although now it would be a bit different due to the success of Lambert, I don''t think anyone had heard of Lambert as a manger before Norwich, so he probably thought this was his first real chance, so he took. Afterall, people should learn from Steve Tilson, who done really well at Southend, got offers from bigger clubs, turned them down, everything went downhill after and Southend Sacked him. Captain Holt 580 Posted January 10, 2011 What was it you said on Facebook, something about him being a ''Judas Cvnt''? ;) ;) ;)
nutty nigel 7,889 Posted January 10, 2011 The way Lambert joined us reminded me of the way John Bond joined us from Bournemouth. In both cases it was a huge step up for the manager. In both cases the manager had difficuties from the club they were leaving. But in both cases the young ambitious managers found the lure of managing a club as big as ours too great to turn down. Forget league positions because the fact that Colchester were above us in the league was irrelevant. I would say the difference between managing Colchester and Norwich would be as great if not greater than the difference between managing Norwich and Everton. And it will take a club of Everton''s stature to tempt Lambert away at this time. As for Steve Tilson - Forget loyalty, he either has zero ambition or he really isn''t that good. I would suspect the latter.
Excited Canary 19 Posted January 10, 2011 Come on Samir, nice post, but just before he announced he was staying and fully commited you called him a judas c*nt on Facebook! ;)
InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted January 10, 2011 I said if he WERE to leave it''d make him a Judas.Fortunately (sp?) the media blew the whole thing out of proportion and PL was never leaving.I have seen the error of my ways ;), I will not doubt his commitment (sp?) to the cause until he officially leaves us.Note to self: the media lies and blows stories of all proportion
Brendo 0 Posted January 11, 2011 Although I do thoroughly agree, this post is just ridiculous after you expressed your annoyance at him leaving. Or so you thought anyway... :S

Captain Holt 580 Posted January 11, 2011 To be fair, we all would''ve been calling him a Judas if he''d have left.
