Devils Advocate. 0 Posted January 13, 2011 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/bournemouth/9360426.stm While I would feel sorry for Bournemouth, I hope that this is true so that the whole saga can be put to bed at last

norfolkchance1 0 Posted January 13, 2011 I think he rejected approaches of Charlton and Palace I don''t think Burnley had made an approach then although there was a lot of speculation.Even so its very harsh on the fans for him to say he''s staying one day and moving next. Most people interpreted that it was in relevance to all jobs that were available not just the clubs who''d made an approach.Think he''s done a decent job at Bournemouth judging by financial pressures, but probably made himself a judas type figure because of the other day. Jacko 0 Posted January 13, 2011 Ouch I (along with most others) interpreted that interview to mean he was staying altogether. Thats a massive kick in the balls if you are Bournemouth fan. I think we can draw a line under the Lambert whatever happens though. If the Villa job or something to that effect becomes available we''re in trouble. But not just yet. norfolkchance1 0 Posted January 13, 2011 I wouldn''t like to be in his shoes if Burnley come up against them in an away game in the future then.

Devils Advocate. 0 Posted January 13, 2011 Maybe I''m a bit neurotic, but while Burnley remain managerless there may have been a chance that they try to entice Paul Lambert again. I wouldn''t mind betting that I''m not the only one with the same thought.

I never really did think he''d leave us to go there anyway until all the stupid rumours kicked in last Friday, think you need to forget about the prospect of Lambert going to that god forsaken hole cos it ain''t gonna happen.
