nutty nigel 7,902 Posted January 11, 2011 I was 17 days old when we beat Crystal Palace 1-0 in the opening game of the 56/57 season. Our goalscorer was a certain Johnny Gavin. That was as good as it got because my arrival into the world brought about what was probably our worst ever season![:$] We finished bottom of Division Three South while ipswich finished top! GMF 1,010 Posted January 11, 2011 The day before I was born, we beat Scunthorpe 2-1 at home. Four days later, we were drawing 3-3 at home to Northampton. I always remember the first Norwich result after my son was born, we stuffed the scum 3-0 at Carrow Road and John Wark was sent off. Unfortunately, we lost our next seven games and lost our Premiership status.
