Seems a sale is a possibility. I would love to see him back.

same, although Smith does seem injury prone, he was out for a long spell with Rangers, then he got injured with us in pre-season and after playing a few games got injured again

He also doesn''t look good enough to be a long term replacement for Drury.

Disagree entirely. I think he''s looked quite good. He has got beaten a few times too many, normally due to being drawn out of position, but he has not played much Championship football at all as of yet. Seems to have a bit of pace and isn''t bad at getting forward - much better alternative to Lappin when fit.

I think he would be a contender as Drury''s apprentice. He certainly looked much improved for the England U21''s recently, making those kinds of runs that he didn''t quite come to grips with when he was here before. I always felt he did a decent job for us when he was here before, especially considering his lack of experience at the time compared to Drury.Smith appears to be injury prone so, while good cover, he''s no good when he''s at the same time as Drury, as now. Drury has made the LB his position, consolidating his skills over the years and whomever replaces him when it''s his time to retire will have a difficult task to step into Adam''s boots, so to speak.

He looks a nice enough little player but for me there have already been plenty of signs that he is not going to be the answer in that position. I wouldn''t be surprised if he does play a few more games for us but I can''t say I''ve seen anything from him to suggest he''ll be good enough to replace Drury (or Lappin for that matter).
