Syteanric 1 Posted December 22, 2010 following on from the success of the "greatest" events and Tom Jones eh?the scum get the foo fighters, the zutons and the chilli peppers. we get some 70''s crooner who hasnt had a hit in years.....bet it costs more money for the club to hold it then they bring in
grantroederdisaster 0 Posted December 22, 2010 The club made money out of the awful greatest ever event as the firm running it only hired the ground of us and it was they instead who lost a packet from the poorly conceived and subsequently poorly attended do! Tom Jones was never going to be viable at Norwich cause he was never going to sell out Carrow Road as most of his potential audience are either dead or of a generation that doesn''t go to big outdoor music events! Rod Stewart is a different proporsition altogether. Hes very very mainstream and can attract a younger generation than Tom Jones. Hes already played to over 20,000 at Portakabin road so theres no reason why he can''t do the same at Carrow Road! Do ya think I''m sexy?!!!!!!

Mello Yello 2,572 Posted December 22, 2010 Who''s Rod''s support act? "A singing postman tribute?" I''m so absolutely and most enthusiastically underwhelmed......Especially when you can attend outdoor gigs at Blickling Hall and other Norfolk venues which have decent entertainment....and have a lovely picnic....Al Fresco. Will they allow Morrison bags of goodies into the stadium past the ''Eventguard'' stormtroopers? Maybe if they could attract to Carra a few bands or singers that would attract an across the board kind of music fans.....they wouldn''t have had a poor response like the Tom Jones gig....Hope Rod attracts more interest than Tom.....Because unfortunately, he doesn''t feature in my musical taste.
