Wembley_Canary 0 Posted December 28, 2010 After some excellent results all round today I couldn''t resist taking a little peak on the binners message board to get a far better understanding of how gloomy and depressing it must be to support Ipswich Town right now. Here are just a few quotes... [:)]http://www.twtd.co.uk/mb.php RetroBlue - "might be different if they actually play against opponents that canfield 11 players to the end of the game.Thats 3 games now where theyhave played against 10 men and won."Dissblue - "Nodge are the luckiest team in the league."RetroBlue - "Scum play 10 men yet again. what a surprise, not ! Scum bang on about FatBoyHolt, but its wes Ho that "makes them tick". Wonder if they can hang onto him?"Fred - "WHEN is everyone going to take on board the budgies are second only too Manure in the good luck stakes"RetroBlue - "The reason they are doing this is becuase they bring on their "supersub" Wes Hollahan. If they dont hang onto him , they are stuffed. There really is nothing stunning about scum. They are just having anamazing amount of good fortune, rub o the green, luck, call it what youlike. But it wont last." legoman - "Trying hard helps but (footy) knowledge is essential. Then selfbelief has a say. We have got it all in Roy so our stay at the top willnot be temporary unlike sickly yellow and green coloured people :o)" But at least one of them could tell it how it is!gainsboroughblue - "Better side than us, better manager and strike me down for saying it but better fans." John 0 Posted December 28, 2010 Their one saving grace this season is the stage they find themselves in in the ''Mickey Mouse Cup''..... Now that is luck. Has anyone ever had an easier run to the semi-finals of this competition? The hardest they''ve had it is the West Brom 3rd string at home. The rest of the opposition they''ve faced is just beggars belief. They hold our early (ish) exit against us, but i''d simply love to see how their second string would get on away against Blackburn. As for Hoolahan, he''s great, but he''s hardly been a mainstay in the side recently. And we have got Surman, Lansbury, and Crofts able when not injured, all more than enough to get by in the higher echelons of the league. And Holt, well he''s hardly solely feeding off the rest of the team is he? In fact according to the stats (7 or 8 assists now is it? More than any striker in this league for one), he''s more key to the build-up play than anyone else in the side. And considering the way he''s constantly running up and down the pitch that is hardly a contentious statement.Their ignorance is truly laughable, most soundly suited to the profession of collecting bins. Norwich or die tryin! 0 Posted December 28, 2010 Hahaha, yeah. Quinns sending off in the 92nd minute when we where 3-2 up really changed the game. Such luck!
shefcanary 2,389 Posted December 28, 2010 They''re plain Bonkers - but we knew that already!

grantroederdisaster 0 Posted December 28, 2010 No biase from myself whatsoever but Ip s hit are the worst, most dispirited Championship side I''ve seen this season and thats not down to luck - Thank you very much Roy Keane, thank you very much, very, very, very, very much! From my viewpoint at the match Holt went down easily and I never thought it was a penalty but after watching it on TV its looks a definate pen! The 2nd one was handball and justifiably a penalty but they aren''t always given. Overall, I''d suggest we did have the rub of the green with the big ref decisions but then again after the Reading debacle we''re owed some, so its very wide of the mark for some S cummers to suggest we''re the 2nd luckiest team after ManU! GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,736 Posted December 28, 2010 If Ipswich fans were at a loose end today, instead of concerning themselves with what we''re doing perhaps they should have gone to Portman Road and helped pour some more "boiling water and sand" onto their pith in an attempt to have it ready for their next home match. With all of these postponments they could well be in thebottom three the next time they kick a ball.
Boyo 0 Posted December 28, 2010 Why is it that when a team (like us and man utd) scores a lot of late goals they are classed as lucky? Oh well, shows how much they know. And they clearly don''t know much about us do they! Hoolahan has hardly kept a regular place in the team this season and all of a sudden we are terrible without him! Just think what we will be like when Drury, Surman, Lansbury, Barnett and Ward return. The best could be yet to come.
Crafty Canary 495 Posted December 28, 2010 Blimey, now even scum fans think we are the Manure of the Championship! How long before Diss army has his missus hurling abuse at us from his fluffy dice-laden Escort whilst he cowers behind the wheel?
