Woman in the Stands (WITS) 0 Posted January 3, 2011 Exactly ctid. At the start of the season, I was hoping for consolidation and top 10. This is beyond expectations and whatever happens over the coming months, we''re doing brilliantly.
shefcanary 2,393 Posted January 3, 2011 Canary callers don''t think so. But I think they are missing the point. The majority of matches were crap today as they were the fourth games in a little over a week. Players all knackered so good move from Lambo to rest Hooly, Holt et al! Mr Brownstone 0 Posted January 3, 2011 Why on earth are people complaining? Unbelievable. Did anyone really expect us to be 2nd after 25 games? I can''t believe they did, I certainly didn''t. It''s one hell of an achievement by all concerned, made all the more impressive given our injury list this season.
Excited Canary 19 Posted January 3, 2011 It''s a shame Watford have just won, makes the gap look a bit smaller.

alysha 0 Posted January 3, 2011 looking very good indeed, although Forest may also be ones to watch with two games in hand..we could have done with scum taking some points off them today, instead they gifted them an own goal

We are the best side in this league on current form and the way things are going we will surely pip QPR etc for the Championship title.
Nolly 0 Posted January 3, 2011 7 points out of 9 over the festive period is fantastic, as is the current form tables. This is reminding me of last season a bit. Slowly working our way up the table, almost un-noticed and without fuss, with a clear leader setting the pace. And we all know how last season ended up, still a long way to go but there''s no reason we shouldn''t stay where are. Hopefully the wheels are coming off at QPR like they did at Leeds (though I assume they''ve got enough to go up like Leeds did) and we''ll carry on our form through to the end of the season. We''ve got a lot of injuries and this league is much tougher/tighter, but we need to just keep going and playing the way we do and hopefully the 2nd half of this season can match and even better the 1st half.
