GK - Paddy KennyRB - Russell MartinCB - Matthew ConnollyCB - Kasper GorkssLB - Clint HillRM - Adel TaarabtCM - Lewis McGuganCM - Andy KingLM - Adam HammillST - Jay BothroydST - Grant HoltI''m only keeping Crofts out on account of how well so many midfielders have been performing this season. With the likes of Charlie Adam, Kevin Nolan, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Darren Ambrose and Peter Whittingham showing the majority of the Championships strikers how to score last season, it does seem as if the pattern is repeating itself this year. As well as those 4 in that team, Kris Commons, Scott Sinclair, James Coppinger, Chris Eagles, Liam Lawrence, Robert Koren, of course Crofts, and Hoolahan as well in my opinion, could just as easily found themselves in that side.

Seems quite clear on this thread that attacking players are getting the plaudits.

Some of these teams are picking 2/3 strikers and 4 wingers.

Camp(Forest)

Mears(Burnley), Williams(Swansea), Gorkks(QPR), Naylor(Cardiff)

McGugan(Forest), Crofts(Norwich), Taarabt(QPR)

Mackie(QPR), Bothroyd(Cardiff), Commons(Derby)

I tried but I couldnt do it without packing the team full of attacking players.

Not quite sure how Mackie deserves a place ahead of Holt. He was scintillating at the start of the season but his performances have really dropped off. Holt is by a fair distance the highest assisting striker in the division, has only one less goal to his name than Mackie in the league, and another more than Mackie overall.+ Lord knows Mackie is playing in a side where it isn''t especially hard to make an impact as a striker that feeds off support and rarely provides it.

Jamie Mackie isn''t playing as a striker, he plays out on the wing and is doing a fantastic job, not just going forward with the goals but also his work rate outwide has been invaluable to the success of QPR this season.
